Jubilation erupted across the Arizona Cardinals community today as legendary former head coach Bruce Arians officially returns to the team—this time as the Senior Coaching Advisor, marking a powerful reunion with the franchise he once led to great heights.

Arians, who served as head coach of the Cardinals from 2013 to 2017, is remembered for revitalizing the team during his tenure. Under his leadership, Arizona achieved a 49–30–1 record, including a trip to the NFC Championship Game in 2015—one of the most successful runs in franchise history.

Cardinals fans, players, and staff are thrilled by the announcement. Social media erupted with celebration shortly after the news broke, with many calling it “the best news we could hope for” heading into the new NFL season.

“This is more than just a coaching move,” said General Manager Monti Ossenfort. “Bruce brings unmatched experience, leadership, and a deep connection to our culture. His presence will elevate everyone in this building.”

Arians returns to Arizona after a Super Bowl-winning stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020), followed by a brief retirement. Now, he steps into a senior advisory role where he will support current head coach Jonathan Gannon, mentor the coaching staff, and provide strategic insights to help guide the team back to contention.

“I never stopped loving this organization,” Arians said during the official press conference. “Arizona feels like home, and I’m thrilled to be back where it all started for me as a head coach.”

As the Cardinals prepare for a new chapter, the return of Bruce Arians signals hope, stability, and a winning mindset—a true game-changer for a team hungry to rise again.
