Malik Hooker (Safety): With a cap hit of $7.75 million in his final contract year, Hooker’s fit in the evolving defensive scheme is uncertain, making him a potential release candidate.
Donovan Wilson (Safety): Facing an $8.65 million cap hit, Wilson’s release could free up $7 million, especially if the team decides to retain Hooker over him.
