The Denver Broncos have announced a substantial $100 million renovation project for Empower Field at Mile High, marking the most significant capital improvement in the stadium’s history. This initiative underscores the team’s commitment to enhancing the fan experience and modernizing their home venue.
Key Upgrades Include:
Expanded Videoboard: The south videoboard has been increased by 70%, now standing 72 feet tall and 225 feet wide, making it the fifth-largest in the NFL. This upgrade aims to provide fans with clearer replays, statistics, and in-game entertainment.
Enhanced Hospitality Areas: The United Club has been revamped with improved audio/visual technology and larger HD video displays. Additionally, a new all-inclusive hospitality space has been introduced on field level for an elevated fan experience.
Concessions and Team Store: The Broncos Team Store has expanded by 25%, adding 3,000 square feet, and now includes customer restrooms for the first time. Concession enhancements across various levels aim to improve service speed and variety.
Technology Upgrades: The stadium’s Wi-Fi system has been enhanced with additional access points to ensure faster connectivity for fans. The video control room has been rebuilt with cutting-edge technology, including a conversion to HDR.
These renovations are part of the Broncos’ ongoing efforts to provide a premier sports and entertainment venue for their fans.
