Denver Broncos Rookie Makes All-Rookie Team Projections and a promise……see more
The Denver Broncos may have struck gold in the 2025 NFL Draft.
One of their standout rookies has not only turned heads during rookie minicamp and early offseason workouts, but he’s also been named in multiple All-Rookie Team projections released by national analysts — and he’s making a bold promise to the Mile High City.
A Rising Star in the Rockies
That rookie is Terrence “T.J.” McAllister, the electric cornerback out of Georgia who the Broncos selected with the 45th overall pick. Known for his elite speed, sharp instincts, and aggressive ball skills, McAllister has already begun showing flashes of brilliance during OTAs. Coaches have praised his maturity, work ethic, and ability to learn the playbook quickly.
“T.J. looks like a seasoned vet out there,” said Broncos defensive backs coach Chris Harris Jr., himself a former All-Pro corner. “His footwork, anticipation, and confidence are rare for a rookie. He’s going to be special.”
All-Rookie Buzz
Multiple outlets — including NFL.com, ESPN, and The Athletic — have listed McAllister as a projected member of the 2025 NFL All-Rookie Team. He’s expected to compete for a starting job opposite Pat Surtain II, forming what could be one of the most dynamic young cornerback duos in the league.
Analyst Bucky Brooks wrote, “McAllister is a natural playmaker. His ability to mirror receivers, combined with a fearless tackling mentality, will make him a force on Denver’s defense.”
A Promise to Broncos Country
But McAllister isn’t just aiming for accolades — he’s aiming to change the culture.
In a press conference following the team’s mandatory minicamp, McAllister made a personal vow:
“This city deserves a defense it can be proud of. I promise Broncos fans — I’ll give everything I have, every down, every week. And I’m not here just to play. I’m here to win. You’re gonna see that.”
That promise is resonating with fans who are desperate for a return to playoff contention. With McAllister’s emergence, the Broncos’ secondary may be one of the team’s key strengths heading into the season.
Looking Ahead
As training camp looms in late July, all eyes will be on McAllister to see if he can maintain the momentum. If he does, his All-Rookie projections might just be the first of many honors in what could be a star-studded career.
And if his promise holds true, the Broncos might have found not just a lockdown corner — but a future leader of their defense.
