Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle has been suspended for two games due to a heated exchange with referees during a matchup against the Miami Heat. The incident occurred late in the fourth quarter when Carlisle vehemently protested a no-call on what he believed was a clear foul against Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton. Carlisle used “inflammatory language” directed at lead official Derek Richardson, leading to two technical fouls and an ejection.¹
