BREAKING NEWS:1 Houston Texans rookie who stood out most in 2025 minicamp after…. see more details.

The Houston Texans wrapped up their 2025 minicamp this week, and one rookie has quickly become the talk of the locker room and coaching staff alike.

BREAKOUT ROOKIE: WR Malik Nabers

First-round draft pick Malik Nabers, selected 10th overall out of LSU, emerged as the most impressive rookie during the Texans’ minicamp. Nabers dazzled coaches with his explosive route-running, elite separation skills, and consistent hands during team drills. Multiple sources within the organization noted that Nabers looked “NFL ready” from day one.

“Malik’s competitiveness and polish are beyond what you typically see in a rookie,” said Head Coach DeMeco Ryans. “He’s not just flashing athleticism — he’s executing with a level of discipline that’s rare this early.”

Nabers showed strong chemistry with quarterback C.J. Stroud, especially during red-zone drills, where he hauled in multiple touchdown receptions against the first-team defense.

Rookie Watch: While other rookies like cornerback Kamari Lassiter and linebacker Junior Colson also showed promise, it was Nabers who consistently drew the biggest reactions from coaches and teammates.

If minicamp is any indication, Malik Nabers could become a vital weapon in a Texans offense that already includes stars like Nico Collins and Tank Dell.
