In a surprising turn of events, former Golden Bayhawks legend and Hall of Fame shooting guard **Jack “Jet” Malone** and his wife **Lena Malone** were reportedly involved in a domestic incident late Tuesday night, according to a brief statement released by San Francisco Police Department.
Authorities responded to a 911 call made from the couple’s luxury Pacific Heights residence shortly before midnight. According to initial reports, no arrests were made, but both parties were questioned on-site, and a report has been filed.
“We are conducting an ongoing investigation and cannot confirm further details at this time,” said SFPD spokesperson Maria Alonzo during a brief press conference.
Malone, 58, retired in 2010 after a storied 15-year career, including 10 All-Star selections and a championship run with the Bayhawks in 2002. Since retirement, he has worked as a commentator and occasionally consulted for the team’s front office.
Representatives for Malone and his wife have not responded to requests for comment.
This is a developing story.
