Former Texas A\&M head football coach Jimbo Fisher, who has remained largely out of the public spotlight since his departure from the Aggies in late 2023, has resurfaced with a surprising and heartfelt message directed at his successor, Mike Elko.
Fisher, who is reportedly being considered for multiple high-profile coaching vacancies across the college football landscape, took a moment during a recent interview to address Elko directly, offering both words of encouragement and subtle advice as the Aggies prepare for the upcoming 2025 season.

Fisher’s statement comes at a time when Texas A\&M is entering its second full season under Elko’s leadership.
