In a major recruiting victory for the Florida Gators, highly touted 4-star quarterback Elijah Golden has officially committed to the program, rejecting offers from powerhouse programs Alabama and Tennessee. Golden, one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the 2025 recruiting class, made his announcement in front of a packed crowd at his high school, solidifying the Gators’ future at the position.
Golden, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound dual-threat quarterback, has been a standout performer throughout his high school career, showcasing elite arm strength, accuracy, and mobility. With offers from nearly every major program in the country, his decision to join Florida marks a significant win for head coach Billy Napier and his staff.
