
Directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay and produced by SpringHill Company (co-founded by LeBron James), “The UnderDog” traces Brunson’s journey from being a second-round pick and overlooked prospect to becoming the face of the Knicks’ modern resurgence and one of the NBA’s most clutch performers.

Jalen Brunson, now considered a Knicks legend by fans and analysts alike, said he hopes the film inspires “anyone who’s ever been doubted.”
Netflix subscribers can begin streaming “The UnderDog” on September 20, with a limited theatrical release also planned in select cities.
