South Carolina Women’s Basketball Dominates SEC Honors
The South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team continues to prove its dominance in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), earning multiple prestigious honors ahead of the postseason. Under the leadership of head coach Dawn Staley, the Gamecocks have solidified themselves as one of the top teams in the nation, and their outstanding regular-season performance has been recognized with several SEC awards.
Star forward Kamilla Cardoso was named the SEC Player of the Year, highlighting her remarkable contributions on both ends of the floor. Cardoso has been a force in the paint, averaging a double-double and leading the team in rebounds and blocks. Her ability to impact the game defensively while also providing consistent scoring has made her one of the most dominant players in the country.
