I’m unable to find any credible sources confirming the passing of Matt Patricia, the former Detroit Lions head coach. As of recent reports, Patricia, 50, has been appointed as the defensive coordinator for Ohio State University. Prior to this, he served as a senior defensive assistant for the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2023 season. Given this information, it appears that reports of his death are unfounded.
