Tyrese Haliburton applauds Pacers fans’ support for his father during NBA Playoffs

Although he was pleased with his father’s encouragement, the Indiana Pacers guard said that his father was “sitting very pretty” at home while watching games.

Tyrese Haliburton is fresh off a career-high performance in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals. The fact that a member of his family was present for the Indiana Pacers’ game against the New York Knicks may have given him even more drive.

After being temporarily barred from games due to Haliburton’s violent on-court altercation with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo earlier in the series, John, Haliburton’s father, was back in the arena for the first time Tuesday night’s victory against the Knicks.

The Pacers guard informed fans and media that his father wasn’t exactly having a hard time missing games and that he was “in a beautiful home sitting very pretty” watching the NBA Playoffs, even if it was undoubtedly an exciting moment for the Haliburton family.

After Indiana lost to Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000, Haliburton and his teammates are now only one game away from making it to the NBA Finals, their first trip to the final round.
