TRAGEDY STRIKES WISCONSIN: TWO POLICE OFFICERS KILLED IN GUN BATTLE WITH NOTORIOUS GANG LEADER

Milwaukee, WI – A devastating loss for law enforcement.

Fatal shootout.

Police Officers, James Johnson, 35, and Emily Rodriguez, 28, were killed during a gun battle with notorious gang leader, Victor “Vicious” Vaughn.

“The investigation is ongoing, but our hearts ache for the fallen officers,” said Milwaukee Police Chief, Jeffrey Norman.

Officer Johnson leaves behind a wife and two children; Officer Rodriguez, a husband and infant daughter.

Gang leader’s violent history.

Vaughn, 32, had multiple felony convictions and was wanted for murder.

“Vaughn’s violence has devastated our community,” said Wisconsin Governor, Tony Evers.

Community mourns.

A vigil will be held tonight at 6 PM at Milwaukee City Hall.

Funeral services for Officers Johnson and Rodriguez will be held tomorrow.

Donations in their memory can be made to the “Wisconsin Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.”
