COUPLE COMES FACE-TO-FACE WITH MAJESTIC BIGHORN RAM
A harrowing winter hike in Wyoming’s South Fork area turned into a breathtaking encounter for a local couple.
Bill and Robin, seasoned hikers, ventured onto the Deer Creek Trail, known for its stunning frozen waterfalls. Accompanied by their dog Ellie, they navigated steep climbs and icy ravines.
Suddenly, Ellie’s alert demeanor signaled potential danger. Bill instinctively drew his sidearm, prepared for a grizzly bear encounter. However, the threat proved to be a majestic bighorn ram.
Perched atop a rock formation, the regal creature gazed down at the duo, exuding strength and authority.
“It was as if we were in the presence of royalty,” Bill described. “His majesty commanded respect.”
The couple’s awe-inspired moment echoed their faith, drawing parallels between the ram’s strength and the power of their spiritual leader.
“Just as the ram stood watch, our Lord stands over us, offering strength and protection,” Bill reflected.
