TWO KILLED, DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED IN ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK CAR CRASH

 

 

Estes Park, CO – Tragedy struck yesterday evening in Rocky Mountain National Park when a car crashed on Trail Ridge Road, resulting in the deaths of two passengers.

 

 

According to park officials, the vehicle, carrying three people, lost control on the winding road and plummeted 200 feet down a steep embankment.

 

 

“The driver, a 32-year-old man from Denver, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Medical Center of the Rockies,” said park spokesperson, Karen Johnson.

 

 

The victims have been identified as 29-year-old Emily Wilson and 35-year-old Michael Davis, both from Colorado Springs.

 

 

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
