TWO BIGHORN RAMS KILLED ILLEGALLY IN WYOMING, INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY

Cody, WY – Wyoming Game and Fish Department and local authorities are investigating the senseless killing of two iconic bighorn rams.

The bodies of the majestic animals were discovered near the scenic Deer Creek Trail in the South Fork area.

“Initial findings suggest the rams were shot and killed without justification,” said Wyoming Game and Fish spokesperson, Mark Hanson.

The investigation is ongoing, with officials reviewing evidence and interviewing witnesses.

“We take wildlife crimes seriously and urge anyone with information to come forward,” Hanson added.

Rewards are being offered for tips leading to the identification and conviction of those responsible.

Bighorn rams are iconic symbols of Wyoming’s wilderness and are protected by state and federal laws.

“This senseless act harms not only the animals but also our community’s heritage,” said Cody Mayor, Matt Hall.
