DALLAS COWBOYS OWNER JERRY JONES MOURNS TRAGIC LOSS OF WIFE AND ADOPTED SON
Dallas, TX – In a devastating turn of events, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reportedly lost his wife, Eugenia “Gene” Jones, and adopted son, Tyler Jones, in a fatal car accident.
According to authorities, the vehicle carrying Mrs. Jones and Tyler was involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 30 near Arlington.
“Our hearts are shattered,” said Jerry Jones in a statement. “Gene and Tyler were the lights of my life.”
The NFL community has rallied around Jones, offering condolences.
“Jerry, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this unimaginable time,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
A memorial service will be held at AT&T Stadium.
