PARALYMPIC SCANDAL: Two USA Athletes and One from TYR Banned Due to “Fin-Tastic” Fins Debacle
In a shocking move, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has handed down a four-year ban to two USA Paralympic swimmers, Emily Chen and Ryan Thompson, as well as TYR athlete, Japanese swimmer, Taro Yamada.
The trio was found guilty of using revolutionary, high-tech fins that gave them an unfair advantage in the pool. Dubbed “Fin-Tastic,” the cutting-edge swimfins were designed to increase propulsion and speed.
