In a shocking move, NHRA icon John Force has announced the sale of his legendary team to a new ownership group.

Force, citing a desire to focus on family and philanthropy, will step away from the sport he dominated for decades.

“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, but it’s time for me to pass the torch to a new generation,” Force said.
