One of the most noteworthy recent events happened during the 2022–2023 NBA season when Curry sustained a contusion in his lower leg in addition to partial tears to his left leg’s superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane. He had to miss several weeks of play due to this injury.

Curry has persevered in the face of adversity, returning to the floor and maintaining his high caliber of play. His ability to bounce back from injuries like this has been essential to keeping him as one of the NBA’s best players.
Stephen Curry has not yet disclosed any intentions to call it quits on his career because of a particular illness or injury. But, the long-term effects of injuries are a constant worry for athletes.
