Breaking News: Cleveland Browns’ Legendary Player, Joe Thomas, Laid To Rest

The Cleveland Browns and the entire NFL community are mourning the loss of legendary offensive tackle, Joe Thomas, who passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 38.

 

Thomas, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection and 6-time First-team All-Pro, was a cornerstone of the Browns’ offensive line from 2007 to 2017. He was known for his exceptional pass-blocking skills, durability, and leadership.

 

The Browns organization released a statement: “We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Joe Thomas. He was a true Browns legend, and his contributions to our team will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.”

 

Thomas’ funeral service was held at FirstEnergy Stadium, where he played for 11 seasons. The service was attended by former teammates, coaches, and NFL legends, who came to pay their respects to one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history.
