Tragedy Strikes: Former Los Angeles Rams Head Coach Passes Away in Car Crash

 

Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles Rams organization and the entire NFL community are in mourning as former head coach, John Robinson, has tragically passed away in a car accident earlier today.

 

According to reports, Robinson’s vehicle collided with a tree on Pacific Coast Highway, resulting in fatal injuries. He was 83 years old.

 

Robinson, a legendary coach, spent 11 seasons with the Rams (1983-1991), leading the team to two NFC Championship appearances and earning Coach of the Year honors in 1983.

 

“John was a Rams icon and a true gentleman,” said Rams owner Stan Kroenke. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
