Tragedy Strikes: Former Dallas Cowboys Captain Dies in Car Accident

 

Irving, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys organization and fans are mourning the loss of former team captain, Sean Lee, who tragically passed away in a car accident last night.

 

According to police reports, Lee’s vehicle collided with another car on Highway 114, resulting in fatal injuries. He was 37 years old.

 

Lee, a revered linebacker, spent his entire 11-year NFL career with the Cowboys (2010-2020), earning two Pro Bowl selections and serving as team captain from 2015 to 2019.

 

“Sean was a true leader and a Cowboys legend,” said owner Jerry Jones. “Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.”

 

Lee’s former teammates and coaches took to social media to pay tribute to his memory, praising his leadership, work ethic, and dedication to the team.
