I am so full of thanks and nostalgia as I sit down to compose this letter. I was playing for the Boston Celtics and giving my all while wearing the green and white uniform, and it seems like that was only yesterday. You were there for us at all times, supporting us with unmatched fervor and devotion whether we were rejoicing in our wins or struggling through heartbreaking defeats. We were able to accomplish greatness because of your commitment, which strengthened our will.
The connection there is a unique bond in sports between the Celtics and their supporters. It is a relationship based on a mutual passion for the sport, a dedication to quality work, and a strong sense of team pride. Your zeal and vigor were evident in everything from the chants that reverberated through the Boston Garden’s rafters to the sea of green that filled the TD Garden.
