On Friday, May 10, 2024, Mr. Jeffrey Alan Orr, 58, of Winder, went away at home.
Mr. Orr was a committed follower of Winder’s Covenant Life Sanctuary. He was a sincere follower of God who cherished sharing the gospel with others. Jeffrey loved to bowl in his spare time. His greatest legacy will be that of a devoted father, grandpa, and spouse who treasured his family.
Christina Glaze and Bradley Messer, Mr. Orr’s daughter, predeceased him.
Father Bill Orr (Dee Dee), mother Joyce Warren (Virgil), siblings Sandra Ray and Bobby Orr (Becky), five grandchildren Kanijah Cox, Joshua Pruett, Clayton Hurst, Ethan Pitts, and Clara Pitts, and children Hilda Joy (Andrew) Pitts, Susan Pruett, Kathryn Orr, Jeffery Alan Orr Jr., and Christian Orr are all living. Mr. Orr is survived by his devoted wife of twelve years, Angie Orr.
Pastors Bobby Smith and Teddy Silvers will preside over the funeral service, which is scheduled to take place at The Covenant Life Sanctuary of Winder on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM. After the service, burial will take place in Barrow Memorial Gardens. On Monday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the family will host friends before the church service.
The funeral arrangements are in the hands of Carter Funeral Home, Winder.
