The dismal season performance of the Detroit Lions has given head coach Dan Campbell an expiration date for his tenure. The decision to fire Campbell at the end of the current campaign was taken following a string of disappointing outcomes and growing pressure from management and fans. 
Even with his fervent leadership and attempts to create a winning culture, the Lions’ dismal record finally sealed his doom. With Campbell’s exit, the club hopes to turn a fresh leaf and set itself up for success going forward.
