Alabama football’s first player after spring practice has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Khurtiss Perry, a former four-star defensive lineman from Pike Road, Ala., is moving on. Matt Zenitz of 247Sports reported the information on social media, citing Perry as one of the most explosive linemen in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
The 6-foot-2, 265-pound senior at Pike Road High School with 76 tackles, 22 sacks, 30 quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble. Perry chose Alabama over Auburn, Texas, and Clemson, and he redshirted his freshman year.
He helped the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff berth in 2023.
