Maple Leafs playoff tickets are still costly. How do they compare to Florida and Boston?

If the season ended today, the Leafs would be matched up with the Florida Panthers in the first round. A comparable single seat at Amerant Bank Arena in Florida is going for $610 (all prices translated to Canadian currency).

With that amount, a person could fly round trip to Florida from Toronto (less than $500 in economy), acquire a one-night hotel stay (let’s say $200), catch a playoff game from the front row and still have some money left for meals and local transportation.

If the rankings flip and Toronto were to play the Boston Bruins, identical seats at TD Garden are available for as low as roughly $680 each — nearly three times cheaper than in Toronto.

The most cheap ticket at Scotiabank Arena for the playoffs, a standing-room only location that comes with a “obstructed view” at the top of the 300 level, is priced for $222.25. Standard tickets in the 300 level are offered at $433. In Florida, they may be purchased for $167.

With four regular season games left on the Leafs’ schedule and Stanley Cup playoff dates and matchups still undetermined, presale tickets were made available to the general public Wednesday – a day after season ticket members received the first dibs.
