The FIA has issued a statement addressing the internal inquiry into Christian Horner, stating that they are still committed to ‘upholding the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and inclusivity’ in racing.
The Red Bull team principal was subjected to an internal investigation following charges of impropriety by a female Red Bull employee, but Horner was not suspended from his position.
An FIA statement issued on the situation read: “In relation to the independent inquiry presently being conducted by Red Bull GMbH, the FIA reiterates that we will not comment more until the investigation is completed and the outcome is known.
“The FIA remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, fairness and inclusivity within the sport.”
