UNIQUE UPDATE: Tashaun Gipson Sr.: From Cleveland’s Struggles to Jacksonville’s Triumph”

During the really difficult years, Tashaun Gipson Sr. was a valuable part of the Cleveland Browns. Gipson played for Cleveland from 2012 to 2015, when he signed a free agent contract to play for Jacksonville.

Gipson was one of the Browns’ best players at the time, but he was also one of the few. The Browns had a 19-45 record during his four seasons, which included the largest collapse and failure in the team’s history.

In the whole AFC in 2014, Cleveland was producing some of the greatest football. Cleveland seemed like it was finally turning the corner after Week 9, as the team finished 6-3 and atop the AFC North.

Unfortunately, the wave broke apart. After seven games, Cleveland concluded the season with a 1-6 record, good for last place in the AFC North at 7-9.

Perhaps the most disappointing year since the comeback has been 2014; there have been many.
